Believe it or not we are never just all about portraits! Join us on Saturday May 21st, 2011 for or third annual Napa Valley landscape and winery workshop just one day before the big portrait workshop in St. Helena. We will begin the day by meeting early to catch the rising sun over the valley at one of our favorite spots for early morning photos of Napa Valley. We will then venture on to both private and public wineries and vineyards in order to capture some stunning images. We will have a few of our favorite models meet us after lunch so that we can include people into our shots if you wish. The day is all about learning from each other, seeing the sights, and enjoying the company.
We are so excited to have landscape photographer Dean Gustafson available to work with us and share landscape techniques and tips to improve our skills. Dean is the Owner of HDR Imaging fine art printing and framing. Dean is also a retired veteran/Investigator of the California Highway Patrol and has been photographing Northern California for many years and is very passionate about the beauty that lies in our own back yard! You will enjoy Dean’s style of teaching and will be covering everything from filters to photographing running water.
Just as we set up last year; this workshop will be the day before our winery portrait workshop and we will extend special pricing if you attend both days.
The cost is $80.00 per person if you only attend Saturday, or take advantage of the special rate of only $40.00 for Saturday if you plan on attending Sundays portrait workshop (that is only $200.00 for two full days of photography! Or only $170 for members).
The workshop will be lead by: Mark Behrens and Dean Gustafson
